Madurai Kamaraj University –Zone ‘C’ level chess and table tennis tournament were held in SSM College of Arts and Science. 120 competitors from colleges located in Palani, Theni, Bodi and Dindigul took part in the tournament. Theni T.K.S. college of Arts and Science won the first position in table tennis and the second position was captured by Dindigul G.T.N. Arts and Science College. Mr. Bhuvanesh of G.T.N. Arts College won the first position in the chess competition and Mr. Ganesan of Arulmigu Palaniandavar College of Arts and Culture, won the second position. The third position was given to Mr.Sathishkumar of CPA College, Bodi. The winners were honoured by the Principal of SSM College of Arts and Science, Dr. N. Sampathkumar. Mrs. Rathi, P. Ed, organized the events.
