ROTARACT & ROTARY CLUBS UNITE FOR SCHOOL-BASED SOCIAL IMPACT

Rotaract Club and Rotary Club of Dindigul jointly organized an awareness programme in Holycross Matriculation School, Vakkampatti and Devangar Higher Secondary School, Chinnalapatti on 13.10.25. Mr.R.Krishna Moorthy, Special Tahsildar, Dindigul District. And Mr. S. Yavanika Sriram, Madurai have acted as the resource person for the programme held at Holy Cross Matriculation School, Vakkampatti.  Child Rights Education, Protection against Child Abuse, Education for all, Health and Nutrition, and Initiatives of Government of India and Tamil Nadu to have a healthy school life were the topics covered by the resource persons.  Mr.P.Mahendran, President, Rotaract Club of Dindigul and Mr. S. Deepak, II Year II B. Com. Professional Accounting were the resource person for the programme held at Devangar Higher Secondary School, Chinnalapatti.  Eradication of Child Labour, Mental Health, Gender equality, Confidentiality while using social media, and the POCSO Act were the topics on which the resource persons shared their experiences among the participants. These programmes were arranged to approach SDGs 3, 5, and 10, namely Good health and well-being, Gender Equity, and Reduced inequalities, respectively. Hearty congratulations to the volunteers and coordinator of Rotaract Club, Mrs. G Karthika Bharathi, for arranging this outreach activity for community development. It is an initiative of Institutions’ Innovation Council.
