RURAL INFRASTRUCTURE AND DEMOGRAPHIC SURVEY

A team of faculty members have collected data related to the facilities available at the rural outskirts of Dindigul District on 27.09.25. This survey has been taken on behalf of the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) scheme in Athoor, Akkaraipatti, and Bodikkamonvadi in Athoor Taluk. The survey includes the following: Gender-wise population, total number of families, availability of primary health centres, schools, basic sources of income to the families, and water facilities. Also, the faculty members interacted with the staff members of local bodies of the above-mentioned villages during the course of the survey. The team comprised of Mr. Daniel rajChristopher Paulகவிஞர் கரு Dr. M Karuppiah, Mr. Palanisamy PalanibharathiGowtham S and Mr. Navaneetha krishnan.
